A Word About Us
The Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America is a non-profit religious organization in the United States, under the direct ecclesiastical jurisdiction of His Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, the Supreme Patriarch of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church. This Archdiocese comprises of the parishes all over the United States and Canada for the people predominantly from India who follow the Syriac tradition. The Church uses the Syriac language, a dialect of Aramaic spoken by Lord Jesus, as the Liturgical language along with English & Malayalam.
St. George Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church is a parish church affiliated with the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America.
We are a church committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message with loving patience and kindness. It is our belief that God is present in all of us, but His active presence can only be felt through faith in Him. We are dedicated to the service of God and all his people, and our goal is to inspire you through the holiness of our dwelling and our services.
